Our Story
We’ve Just Started, But Love That We Can Help…
More About Willing Hearts (WH).
WH is a charitable kitchen which cooks and delivers well over 6300 meals a day, every single day of the year, all across Singapore.
Our meals are combined with WH meals and distributed all across the island. With preference given to those needy families who prefer Chapati instead of rice.
Willing Hearts is a secular, non-affiliated charity and is wholly run by volunteers, apart from a handful of staff. It operates a soup kitchen that prepares, cooks and distributes about 6300 daily meals to over 40 locations island wide, 365 days a year.
Beneficiaries include the elderly, the disabled, low income families, children from single parent families or otherwise poverty stricken families, as well as migrant workers in Singapore.
Willing Hearts is registered as a society with the Ministry of Home Affairs since February 2005 and as a charity with the Ministry of Ministry of Social and Family Development since December 2008.

Daily Opportunities To Make A Difference…
Mondays
On Mondays at Pardesi Khalsa Gurdwara Sahib (9 Lor 29 Geylang, Singapore 388065):
5:00 am – Pack meals and deliver to Willing Hearts by 7:00 am.
7:00 am – Volunteers deliver meals to families all over the island.
Tuesdays
On Tuesdays at Gurdwara Sahib Katong (17 Wilkinson Road, Singapore 436673).
5:00 am – Pack meals and deliver to Willing Hearts by 7:00 am.
7:00 am – Volunteers deliver meals to families all over the island.
Wednesdays
On Wednesdays at Central Sikh Gurdwara Sahib (2 Towner Rd, Singapore 327804).
5:00 am – Pack meals and deliver to Willing Hearts by 7:00 am.
7:00 am – Volunteers deliver meals to families all over the island.
Thursdays
On Thursdays at Khalsa Dharmak Sabha (18 Niven Rd, Singapore 228365) and Sri Guru Singh Sabha (90-92 Wilkie Rd, Singapore 228086).
5:00 am – Pack meals and deliver to Willing Hearts by 7:00 am.
7:00 am – Volunteers deliver meals to families all over the island.
Fridays
On Fridays at Gurdwara Sahib Katong (17 Wilkinson Road, Singapore 436673).
5:00 am – Pack meals and deliver to Willing Hearts by 7:00 am.
7:00 am – Volunteers deliver meals to families all over the island.
Saturdays
On Saturdays at Willing Hearts (11 Jalan Ubi Blk 6, #01-51 Kembangan – Chai Chee Community Hub, Singapore 409074).
5:00 am – Cook and pack meals.
7:00 am – Volunteers deliver meals to families all over the island.
9:00 am – 2:00 pm – Prep work for the next day’s cooking.
Sundays
On Sundays at Gurdwara Sahib Katong (17 Wilkinson Road, Singapore 436673).
5:00 am – Pack meals and deliver to Willing Hearts by 7:00 am.
7:00 am – Volunteers deliver meals to families all over the island.
Monthly Event
On 1 Saturday every month, volunteers at Gurdwara Sahib Katong (17 Wilkinson Road, Singapore 436673) for our Monthly Event (ME).
7:30 pm to 9:30 pm – Start food prep on the preceeding Friday evening.
5:30 am to 9:00 am – Cooking and packing on Saturday morning.
9:00 am to 10:00 am – Food is then taken to the selected home for the aged and volunteers interact, entertain and serve food.
